About two decades ago, contemporary Christian artist, Steven Curtis Chapman released his “Great Adventure” album.  The title track was an upbeat tune about our faith journey.  It was a great song then, still is, and the song came to mind as I embarked on this photographic journey.

I’ve always loved taking pictures.  It was a difficult hobby to start since it required a lot of patience, something many pre-teens, including myself lacked. I had to wait how long to get the photos developed?  The days would drag on and when I got my photos back, some didn’t turn out the way I thought they would (or hoped), while others were “the best ones ever”.

Branching out formally into the world as photographer has had its challenges. There have been moments of doubt, excitement, and peace….trying to be patient with myself and the process.  I couldn’t have done it without friends who have encouraged me, supported me, and participated in this adventure with me.  You know who you all are and I thank you!

So “saddle up your horses….we’ve got a trail to blaze”.
