About Manger Photography

Although it has been a dream of Laura’s for several years, in 2017, Manger Photography was launched. Laura looks forward to working with you to help you create and document the meaningful moments in your life.

And in case you’re wondering about how to pronounce her name…as her grandfather used to say, “It is Manger… as in ‘anger’ with an ‘M’”.

Laura Manger was born and raised in Central Jersey before heading off to college, in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. Taking photos has been a hobby of Laura’s since she was a pre-teen and her interest has “developed” into quite a passion.  She enjoys photographing florals, hardscapes and landscapes, children’s smiles, and fun family moments.

She loves to travel and enjoys combining her interests in history, food, and photography during her trips.  So far, she’s been to 46 of the 50 states, and looks forward to visiting the last four. One of her favorite trips was written about in the book, Behind Colorful Doors.  Laura was a contributing author to Deleen Wills’ 2016 book.

Besides working for an environmental company, she is a freelance photographer who in her free time enjoys cooking, music, co-leading a small group women’s Bible study at church, rooting for the New York Yankees, and researching her family genealogy. It’s her love of family history that pushes Laura to document the special moments in life. Living in historic and picturesque Chester County, Pennsylvania, Laura also enjoys the opportunities to photograph the people and places where she calls home.
